From Pittsburgh to Houston

After living approximately six years in Pittsburgh, it was time for a change.  While the city skyline, with its picturesque bridges, is certainly a sight to see, the frigid temperatures finally got the best of me.  In 2014 I decided to move across the country and begin setting roots in the massive Houston, Texas. The travel from Western Pennsylvania to Texas is not a challenge I'd wish on anyway.  The drive was cruel, especially through the treacherous storms that plagued Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana at the time.  But, I finally made it. Houston, like the larger three, is a city that never sleeps.  Edge-to-edge its limits seem never ending.  Street lights illuminate creating what seems like 24 hours of daylight.
